Mental Health and a Memoir: Saying Inshallah with Chutzpah

San Diego author Jessica Keith joined me on the podcast to talk about her debut memoir, Saying Inshallah with Chutzpah. In the book, Jessica chronicles her humorous and poignant story about dealing with anxiety while navigating inter-faith and cross cultural issues in her professional and personal life.
In the episode, Jessica speaks openly about her struggle with anxiety and how it impacted her experience as a Jewish woman working for the Kuwaiti government, her fears that she wouldn't be able to get through her wedding ceremony even though she loved her husband, and persevering through the eight years of writing the book, an effort she calls "yoga for the mind."
